For 'O Cerasiell I took care of the logo, visual identity, website and shooting to transform the Neapolitan trattoria into a more modern experience.

'O Cerasiell is a Neapolitan trattoria on the Sorrento peninsula that offers home cooking in an informal and welcoming context. The project was born from the need to build a recognizable and coherent visual identity from scratch, capable of communicating the Neapolitan soul of the venue in a contemporary key, maintaining a strong link with tradition. The brand strategy positions 'O Cerasiell as an authentic neighborhood trattoria, far from tourist clichés and rooted in Neapolitan everyday life. The key values - home cooking, informality and hospitality - guide the visual choices and tone of voice on all touchpoints, defining a warm, direct and familiar experience.
Logo Design
The logo is inspired by the cursive writing of grandmother's recipe notebooks, evoking the idea of a personal and affectionate signature linked to home cooking, combined with the "'O Cerasiell" chilli pepper symbol which expresses the lively character of the trattoria.

The construction of the brand is based on a modular grid that defines proportions, alignments and thicknesses, ensuring balance and readability in every format.
Visual system & applications
The palette revolves around three main colors: chili red, warm yellow and cream; the red recalls the Neapolitan cerasiello and the spicy and lively cuisine of the restaurant, the yellow recalls the walls of the restaurant and the houses of the past, while the cream acts as a neutral base that softens the contrasts and improves readability. Textures, patterns and layouts evoke the imagery of grandparents' homes and neighborhood trattorias, creating a familiar and lived-in environment in which each graphic element reinforces the brand's personality. This visual identity takes concrete form in printed materials, such as menus, flyers, posters, business cards and point-of-sale supports, designed to accompany the restaurant experience at all times, from the choice of dish to word of mouth.
Photography & image processing
The photography tells the story of the restaurant through dishes, room details and spontaneous moments between staff and customers, putting human warmth at the centre. The treatment of images favors warm tones, soft contrasts and close-up shots, to convey the sensation of being seated at the table in a Neapolitan home.
Social Media
For social channels, post templates have been developed that integrate logo, colors and typography, making 'O Cerasiell's profile immediately recognisable. The modular structure allows the restaurant to easily update content such as dishes of the day, events and promotions, maintaining a coherent and curated online presence.
Website & menu
The website is designed as a digital extension of the restaurant: simple to navigate, optimized for mobile and focused on essential information such as menus, contacts and reservations. The digital menu takes up the same visual language as printed media, offering a fluid experience between online and offline and simplifying the updating of content by the customer.
